Individuals with Lean Six Sigma Green Belts work on simple process improvement projects. Usually, their job would require less than 50% of their time focused on Lean Six Sigma projects. However, Green Belt roles and job requirements will vary between companies.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training program is ideal for those tasked with improving existing processes. These could be processes that are not standardized or don’t have established metrics. Or, the organization could be looking to reduce errors or cycle time of those processes or optimize the process’s parameters.
These Green Belts are traditionally lead process stakeholders and may also be assigned specific process-level improvement projects. Well-trained Green Belts will conduct their own—projects that normally require simpler statistical tools.
All participants will be provided with Minitab Statistical Software (Trial Version) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Handbook (Digital Version) from the Six Sigma Council. In addition, we offer traditional classroom programs and virtual remote learning options.
Upon completing this course, the participants will be awarded Certification of Completion with Six Sigma Council’s endorsement.
This course is designed for individuals from diverse organizational functions-operations, quality, logistics, finance, production, engineering and other staff functions. Participants are normally the process owners or leaders who are well versed in the technical aspects of their jobs and have worked on project teams.
The Green Belt certification also opens the door to various job opportunities and raises in pay. In today’s worldwide management market, a Six Sigma certified professional is extremely valuable, raising demand for the position.
